WHEN WE RE-ENGINEERED THE HUMAN EVOLUTION FOR FUJITSU
The international Ultra Evolution Campaign is based on an own, special Fujitsu interpretation of the famous ape to human evolution chart. With some humorous modifications to this chart, Fujitsu illustrated the advantages of their extra thin and lightweight Ultrabooks in a very memorable way. The Campaign, aligned towards business people, was realized on two levels. Real installations with special display dummies on different international airports around the world accompanied by the launch of a special LIFEBOOK / Ultrabook website. On this website the airport installations were taken up again but as an animated version. And as you probably expected it became our task to create the digital, 3D animated version of the display dummies and their equipment.
A major challenge for this task were the suits. After a while of research we decided to realise them in a special simulation software that originates in the fashion industry. Based on real cutting patterns we were able to create suits with a good fit and at the same time very stable and realistic cloth simulations with fast movements and multi-layered fabric.
